Day trip
This exclusive excursion is possible with or without an overnight stay at the Zonnehuis.
You will enjoy a unique day trip to Kent and Sussex.
Jan, the owner of the Zonnehuis, will pick you up at 07:00 and drive to Calais where we take the shuttle train. After an English Breakfast, we start our route through the rolling English countryside with unique villages, castles, gardens, and old country pubs.
The trip is adapted to the time of year and the weather. We visit a garden, a castle, enjoy an afternoon tea, and browse in antique shops.
After a delicious dinner in a cozy pub, we return to De Haan (00:00).

Indicative price: €120pp with 6 people / €145pp from 4 people / €240pp from 2 people, including car transport, guide, and train ticket.
Not included: meals, tickets for castles & gardens, overnight stays at the Zonnehuis.
Three-day trip
You will enjoy a three-day tour with the owner of the Zonnehuis in his minibus (max 6 people).
This short trip is truly unique, as you are immersed in the traditions of the English Countryside with its old pubs, castles, gardens, fishing villages, antique shops…
You will stay 2 nights at The Millhouse, the English home of Jan and Bertrand in Cranbrook.
The trip is adapted to the time of year and the weather:
Day 1: Departure to the UK and a full day of touring and visits in Kent & Sussex, overnight stay and breakfast at The Millhouse.
Day 2: After breakfast, a full day of touring and visits in Kent & Sussex, overnight stay and breakfast at The Millhouse.
Day 3: After breakfast, a full day of touring and visits in Kent & Sussex and return to Belgium
Indicative price: €495 pp from 4 people and €680 pp from 2 people, including 2 overnight stays at The Millhouse, train ticket, transport and guidance with the car of the Zonnehuis.
Not included: meals, entrance tickets for castles & gardens, overnight stays at the Zonnehuis.
Muti-day trips
It is possible to book longer tours.
Jan, the owner of the Zonnehuis, provides transport with his minibus, guidance and all reservations, and plans a trip according to the number of days, the time of year and the number of people (max 6 persons).
The Cotswolds, Devon & Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Yorkshire, Lake District, Wales and even Scotland are possible. Feel free to ask for a proposal.
